Taking inspiration from the 2016 Lexus RX, I created this three piece look that was designed to go from day to night. I was inspired by the user friendly aspect of the car with all of the simple symbols that showed the user what each components job was.. In regards to fabric, I looked towards fabrics used traditionally in workplace environments such as poplin for the top, denim for the jacket, and elevated the two by pairing them with moiré pants. This piece made it into the Top 10 of UT's annual Fashion Show.
